Announcing the 2020 BU Pint Glass Design Challenge!

Ever dream of sharing one of your BU themed designs with hundreds of thirsty Terriers (or maybe that’s just us?) Well, we’re here to tell you that your dream could come true sooner than you think!

The 2020 BU Pint Glass Design Challenge!

For the past two years we’ve unveiled collectable BU Pint Glasses, and each year, Terriers from all over scramble to get their hands on the newest edition (kinda like collecting Pokémon, but more useful). This year, we’re putting YOU in the designer’s chair… think you’re up for the challenge?

Even if you don’t want to throw your hat in the ring with an original design, you can still help us with this challenge. Once all designs are submitted we’ll need YOUR help to choose the winner! We’ll pick the finalists then it’s your turn to vote on which design you think deserves to be immortalized in glass. So head on over to @BUAlumni on Instagram Tuesday, May 26, 2020 to help us make this super difficult decision!

Contest rules & guidelines

We’re looking for a design that’s fun, imaginative, and full of Terrier pride! Designs must be submitted using the directions below no later than Friday, May 22, 2020, and meet the following guidelines:

1. Features a BU tradition, campus landmark or other BU theme
2. Uses only black, no other colors
3. Does not include a date or year
4. Is not overly intricate or detailed
5. Is formatted as a .jpeg, .png, or .pdf file
6. Has a 1:1 aspect ratio (square)
