Extreme heat—What’s the problem and why should I care? An Earth Day Conversation
Across the globe, heat waves are becoming more frequent and intense due to continued climate change. Researchers across Boston University are working to better understand the impacts of extreme heat on our health and wellbeing, and what we as individuals and communities can do about it.
In celebration of Earth Day, Boston University’s “Real Life Justice League” of BU professors and climate change superheroes working in energy, green space, community, cities, and public health come together for a dynamic conversation on how the world is warming, what it means for public health, and solutions on the horizon.
