You can help welcome first-generation students into the Boston University Alumni Association by writing letters of congratulations and encouragement.

Your words of care and support will make a difference in the lives of our graduating first-gen seniors and graduate/professional students. These letters will be distributed at the 2023 First-Generation Graduation Pinning Ceremony in May—welcoming them into the Alumni Association.

You don’t have to be a first-generation alum to participate in this initiative. Submit a meaningful message to graduates by simply filling out the form below before May 15, 2023.

The Newbury Center was established in January 2021 to provide comprehensive support for first-generation undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
