Sabrina Horn (COM’85)

Sabrina Horn is an award-winning CEO, executive coach, advisor, professor, and bestselling author of Make It, Don’t Fake It: Leading with Authenticity for Real Business Success (2021, Berrett-Koehler).

At the age of 29 and with only $500, Sabrina founded Horn Group, a public relations firm that for a quarter century, advised thousands of executives and their companies—from the hottest tech startups to the Fortune 500. For 25 years, her firm counselled thousands of tech executives and their companies through rapid growth, category creation, brand transformation, global expansion, IPOs and acquisitions, pivots, and crisis matters.

Horn Group became one of the most enduring, iconic brands in the tech world, receiving national acclaim as Best US Employer in 1998 and a Top 10 US Independent Tech PR Firm in 2011. Sabrina sold Horn Group in 2015 to Finn Partners. She is currently CEO of HORN Strategy, LLC, a consulting firm focused on helping executives navigate the early stages of their businesses. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Emerson College, Boston, teaching undergraduate students about leadership.

Sabrina is a board member of the Boston University Alumni Council and several other organizations. She has written for The Wall Street Journal, Inc., Chief Executive Magazine, Entrepreneur, Inc., Forbes, and CMO.com. Horn has an MS in Public Relations from Boston University and a BA in American Studies from Hobart/William Smith Colleges. She has two incredible daughters, Grace and Christina.
