Dr. Paul R. Solomon received B.A. State University of New York, New Paltz (1970), M.A. State University of New York, New Paltz (1972), and Ph.D. University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Neuropsychology (1975). Dr. Solomon is the Clinical Director of the Boston Center for Memory and specializes in Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Solomon also serves as the Clinical Director of The Memory Clinic in Bennington VT and is the Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience and founding chairman of the Neuroscience program at Williams College. He is visiting Professor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine. He has been the principal investigator for over 100 clinical trials and directs the clinical research program at Boston Center for Memory. Dr. Solomon has authored more than 150 books, chapters, and research papers.
Research Interests
Dr. Solomon’s research interests include Neuropsychology of Memory and Memory Disorders, Alzheimer’s Disease. The work in his lab focuses on the neuropsychological and neurobiological aspects of memory disorders especially as they present in Alzheimer’s Disease. His work ranges from testing memory improving agents and anti-Alzheimers drugs in humans to attempting to develop animal models of human memory disorders
