Anthony J. Santella is a tenured Full Professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy, Doctor of Health Sciences Program Director, and University COVID-19 Coordinator at the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut. His research helps improve the health and well-being of several vulnerable communities including people who are living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS, gender and sexual minorities, justice-involved persons, youth, and people who are experiencing homelessness. Anthony is on the Board of Directors of The HIV League, a nonprofit organization which provides college scholarships to people living with HIV/AIDS, an Academic Editor for PLOS One and a member of the APHA Education Board and HIV/AIDS Section. He holds a DrPH in Health Systems Management from Tulane University, a MPH in Health Policy Management from Emory University, and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist.
