Nicole is a first-year graduate student pursuing a dual degree in social work and public health. She received her B.A. in psychology from East Carolina University in 2018, and recently completed a research fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center where she studied the social and emotional development of young children. She is currently a research assistant in the Health Law, Policy & Management department at BUSPH conducting a program evaluation for an early intervention aimed to improve housing stability and health for families with small children. Nicole is deeply passionate about combating the negative effects of adverse childhood experiences and exploring the influence of social support networks on youth wellbeing. She is committed to improving the access to care by sharing perspectives across fields: bridging research and practice, services and policy, and the individual and community.
