Phillipe Copeland, PhD, LICSW is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the BU School of Social Work. His scholarship, teaching and service focus on the intersection of social justice, democracy and social welfare with an emphasis on racial capitalism and Abolition. This includes areas such as the Black Lives Matter Movement (BLM), decarceration, health justice and antiracism education.
