Dr. Tracey M. Guthrie is the Program Director for the General Adult Psychiatry Residency at Brown University and the Vice Chair for Clinical Faculty Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. She is also an Assistant Dean for Diversity in the Division of Biology and Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is an Associate Professor (Clinician Educator) in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. Dr. Guthrie received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Guthrie has been recognized for her dedication to teaching with multiple honors and awards. She is currently the 2023 Program Chair-Elect for the American Association of Directors of Psychiatry Residency Training (ADDPRT). Dr. Guthrie is the first person of color to hold this position. In 2026 she will ascend to become the President of ADDPRT.
