School of Medicine Adds New Teaching Hospital

In July of 2021, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton became a Boston University teaching hospital, joining its primary affiliate Boston Medical Center. The five-year partnership expands an existing relationship between BU and St. Elizabeth’s and brings more opportunities for medical clerkships and clinical rotations. For faculty, the partnership is expected to lead to more collaboration on clinical research. The 308-bed hospital is located about five miles west of our School of Medicine.
