CAS AR410 digs a historic site in the North End with City of Boston Archaeologist
CAS AR 410, Archaeological Research Design and Materials Analysis, taught by Professor Catherine West and teaching assistant, Kathleen Forste (GRS’21), worked on material from a historic site in Boston’s North End. Sydney Hunter awarded Fulbright Scholarship
Sydney Hunter (CAS’19) Archaeology Senior, has been awarded a J. William Fulbright Scholarship to attend the University of Liverpool for a Master’s of Arts in Archaeology. Emma Schlauder wins Fulbright Scholarship
Archaeology senior Emma Schlauder (CAS’19) has been awarded a J. William Fulbright Scholarship for study in the United Kingdom. A double major in Archaeology and History, with a minor in Classical Civilization, Emma will use the prestigious award to attend the University of Sheffield’s MSc program in Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology in fall 2019. Sydney Hunter (CAS’19) receives an award
Sydney Hunter (CAS’19) awarded the Undergraduate Ethnobiologist Award by the Society of Ethnobiology. Sydney will receive the award at the May 2019 Society of Ethnobiology conference in Vancouver, Canada. Congratulations Sydney!
Alumna, Jessica MacLellan (CAS’09) recipient of PhD in Anthropology, University of Arizona
Jessica received her BA in Archaeology, May 2009 and has gone on with her interests in archaeology. Jessica is the recipient of a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Arizona. She studies the role of household ritual in the development of ancient Maya civilization at Ceibal, Guatemala. Congratulations Jessica!
