About

Haylee is interested in Indigenous archaeology in North America. Her work focuses on collaborating with Indigenous peoples and incorporating community knowledge to the archaeological record to reclaim histories that have been lost or ignored through colonization. Haylee’s previous work includes hosting information sessions on NAGPRA for her college community, creating a podcast about food sovereignty and Indigenous climate action plans, and researching community and families’ response to incoming and unwanted powers. She attended Vassar College (2018-2022) and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Anthropology and Cognitive Science.
