oSTEM@BU empowers LGBTQIA graduate students in STEM to succeed personally, academically, and professionally by cultivating environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership, and advocacy. oSTEM@BU began in the summer of 2018 as a small group of BU graduate students who convened over cupcakes to celebrate the first annual International Day of LGBT+ People in STEM. oSTEM@BU is a collegiate chapter of the national organization, oSTEM Inc.
