GRS prof Kevin Stoehr organizes the John Ford Film Festival this weekend in Maine.

Kevin Stoehr, an assistant professor of humanities at the College of General Studies, is coordinating the first John Ford Film Festival October 7 to 9 in Portland, Maine. Commemorating the life and work of the legendary director of such films as The Grapes of Wrath, Stagecoach, How Green Was My Valley, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, the festival is organized by Portland’s newly established John Ford Center, which Stoehr helped launch last year.
