Kal Zabarsky honored by UPAA
Kal Zabarsky's work recognized by University Photographers’ Association of America

BU photographer Kalman Zabarsky took home an honorable mention this summer from the annual print competition of the University Photographers’ Association of America.
Zabarsky, who has been with the University since 1969, won in the Campus Environment category, which includes photos of buildings, structures, and grounds. His shot, of a student riding her bike in Marsh Plaza in the early morning, is part of a series he took from the top of the School of Theology building.
BU photographer Vernon Doucette won first prize in the personal vision category at the UPAA competition.
