Battle of the chefs
Be there on Tuesday to see your friends compete to be the BU Iron Chef! The contest starts at 7 p.m. in BU Central.

This week, students will set out to prove that dorm cooking can mean much more than ramen noodles. The BU Iron Chef competition challenges contestants to prepare the best meal possible with $10, 30 minutes, and a micro-fridge. The residence hall associations picked the first-round winners — the finalists will face off in BU Central on Tuesday, November 7, at 7 p.m.
Judges include comedian Ken Reid of the sketch comedy troupe the Untrainables, Dean of Students Kenneth Elmore, and one surprise judge to be selected from the audience. J. P. Licks will be there with gift certificates for audience members and special prizes for the winners, and the Iron Chefs will also have a chance to win gift cards or restaurant gift certificates.
BU Iron Chef is sponsored by BU Today and the Student Activities Office. All BU Central events are free with a BU ID. For more information, e-mail today@bu.edu.
