Paula Quatromoni speaks out about childhood obesity
The American Heart Association names Sargent's Paula Quatromoni as a spokesperson on childhood obesity.

Paula Quatromoni, a Sargent College assistant professor of nutrition, was recently named childhood obesity spokesperson for the American Heart Association. Quatromoni will work closely with the association to stimulate media awareness of the growing problem of overweight children as well as to develop and promote programs designed to curb obesity in children.
Quatromoni is a nutrition researcher and directs KidSTEPS, a University research study that has determined that children’s physical activity levels vary by gender and also by time of year. “As a nutrition professional and a parent of school-age children,” she says, “I am committed to the mission set forth by the American Heart Association.”
