PR student wins award, internship
For outstanding work in public relations, Ashley Cheng (COM'06) won the Daniel J. Edelman Award.

Ashley Cheng (COM’06) recently won a first prize award from the Public Relations Student Society of America.
Cheng, chapter president of Boston University’s PRSSA, won the Daniel J. Edelman Award for outstanding public relations students.
The award is presented by the PRSSA and sponsored by the Edelman public relations firm. Judges evaluate students’ portfolios by measuring their leadership skills, public relations related achievements and activities, and recommendations.
An intern at 360 Public Relations in Boston, Cheng received a $1,500 cash prize and a three-month paid internship with the Edelman Firm, named the "2006 Large Agency of the Year” by PR Week magazine.
