The Phantom of the Opera
Experience some Halloween horror on Tuesday, October 31, with the 1925 silent film The Phantom of the Opera at 9 p.m. in Metcalf Hall.

Before Andrew Lloyd Webber, there was Rupert Julian — the director of the original version of The Phantom of the Opera, released in 1925 and still considered one of the best horror films of the 20th century. On Halloween night, the Student Activities Office is screening the silent classic as it was shown back in the days of silent films — with live accompaniment on the Metcalf Hall organ, with 7,500 pipes the largest symphonic organ in the world. The movie is free and starts at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31.
