WBUR, Boston University’s award-winning National Public Radio station, broadcasts a lecture by renowned poet Eavan Boland as part of the Robert Lowell Memorial Lecture Series. She is introduced by former U.S poet laureate Robert Pinsky.
Hosted by the Creative Writing Program, the Robert Lowell Memorial Lecture Series features high-profile poetry readings celebrating the legacy of the historic Boston University class in which Robert Lowell once taught poets Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, and George Starbuck. The lectures are funded by Nancy Livingston and Fred M. Levin through The Shenson Foundation, in memory of Drs. Ben and A. Jess Shenson.
