Comedians Compete for Funniest Student Title at BU Central
BU’s third annual Funniest Student Competition begins on Friday, September 28. Think you’ve got what it takes?

Myq Kaplan (GRS’06), the first champion, went on to appear on Comedy Central’s Open Mic Fight. Steve Macone (COM’07), last year’s winner, has since performed with Dave Coulier. On Friday, September 28, visit BU Central to watch the candidates for BU’s Funniest Student of 2007. The preliminary round begins at 9 p.m.
The event, sponsored by the Student Activities Office, is similar to the reality television series Last Comic Standing and American Idol. A panel of judges eliminates approximately half of the comedians in the preliminary round, sending winners to the finals, on Friday, October 12, when audience members will select the Funniest Student of 2007.
