Have you ever wondered if Kenn Elmore’s got game? Friday’s Midnight Madness party is your chance to find out.
Elmore, the dean of students, and Stacy Godnick, the assistant dean of the College of General Studies, will face off against the head coaches of the men’s and women’s basketball teams, Dennis Wolff and Kelly Greenberg, in a free-throw shootout. Midnight Madness marks the start of the National Collegiate Athletic Association basketball season and is the first official team practice of the 2007–2008 season.
Students will have the opportunity to challenge Wolff and Greenberg in a three-point shootout competition, and the Terrier teams will participate in a five-minute scrimmage, a partner shooting contest, and a dunk contest. Students attending the event will have the chance to win a $50,000 tuition scholarship.
Midnight Madness will be held on Friday, October 12, from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., at Case Gym, 285 Babcock St. Admission is free.
