There are 29 comments on Trump Is a Convicted Felon. Does That Actually Mean Anything?

  1. Convicted felons can’t enter Canada. Will be interesting to see how his interactions with foreign countries will play out if he was to be re-elected.

  2. I for one pray and sincerely hope that a clear majority of majority of duly registered voters go to their polling center on that first Tuesday in November and not vote for the former or X-President. I would hope that their consciences can see through this crooked person and not ever allow him to be in a power position in government ever again. Please get registered to vote and on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 go to your place of casting your vote and vote for Joe Biden but whatever you do, please don’t vote for Donald J. Trump.

    1. Agreed,
I find it so very troubling that the country has become polarized by this man’s antics. It is appalling that this undereducated and degenerating persona has affected people to the extent that it has. There’s nothing Christian about this man’s life and yet the evangelicals want to prop him up. He’s a racist, a bigot, and a convicted rapist, a tax cheat and has ne leadership skills or qualities.
1 million people lost their lives on his watch. I repeat he lied to the people and put us in jeopardy. I know that there’s nothing redeemable about him. This country like Rome should remember the dark history that we moved away from. He will bring this country to it’s knees as a result of his fear of prison>
      Lock him up Now!

    2. You are out of your mind. He is convicted of a non violent felony. I hope and pray that people go to their polling places and vote TRUMP. We CANNOT take another 4 years of this…we will have NOTHING left. See ya on election day

      1. hiii samantha, im not sure youve done a lot of research on this topic? Hes going to make america very unsafe for lgbtq, (especially lgbtq youth), and suicidate rates will go up ^^;; he also has said he wants to declare war? so please look into it a little more!! some of the stuff he wants to do its really detrimental to the economy & hes made a lot of racist comments before ^^;;
i dont think its a good idea to vote for someone who doesnt care about the people in the country he wants to guide

        1. The U.S. simply can not afford to make these issues a top priority. My goodness, you one-issue folks simply can not be serious about what is most important.

Also, who has involved the U.S. in most wars in recent years? Correct, the democrats.

Your scope of importance is way off. President Trump has a record of solving problems, while the democrats have the distinction of starting problems and looking for ways to put people in prison who don’t embrace any belief they may have.

  3. It’s interesting that even the lawyers believe it will little impact him due to wealth, politics and him running for president. What does that say about Justice? The poor must comply while the Elite just go about their business.

  4. Wait. He can’t vote for the presidency because he’s a convicted felon but he can hold office? He can’t own a firearm as a convicted felon but he can launch nuclear weapons?? Smh

    1. That is so bazaar. He can’t vote for the presidency but he can BE THE PRESIDENT? He can’t own a gun, because he is a convicted FELON, but he can LAUNCH NUCLEAR WEAPONS? Did EVERYONE, THE FAR RIGHT GOP, THE FAR RIGHT PUBLIC all LOSE THEIR MINDS? Can anyone explain the ridiculousness of the previous comment? Is that what the public is voting on?

      1. YES, he can vote. a felon can vote in NY,while he resides in FL that state defers to the state of the conviction (which is not yet in NY records until sentencing) …any way Densantas has stated he will follow the law and allow Trump to vote.

    2. Richard the former president can still vote and still has his rights to own firearms as a non-violent felon. I’d rather have a stable minded former convicted president than an irrational/emotional problem solving woman in office. She will be the end of all things good. Either way they’re both garbage and trumps the lesser evil here. Happy voting!

  5. He is officially NOT a felon until the Judge pronounces it. So technically you are WRONG. An appeal to a state or Federal court could issue a stay on this. This is merely pandering to Americans who don’t understand our legal system and leaves the media open, in my opinion, to the charge of FALSE NEWS

    1. Trump is a convicted felon. In NC, a felon can. not vote until he has served his time in jail or in probation. It bothers me that each state has different laws on felony convictions. He tried to lie to the public by withholding evidence for the highest position in the land. To me that’s a grievous offense. I guess money talks because in some instances, from reading what your lawyers said, if you have the means, you don’t have to worry about having a guilty verdict. Just commit the crimes. Who cares!

  6. I have a hard time even thinking about Trump while reading this. I have worked with and been a part of second chance individuals and others who have been convicted on felonies. The reality is, people make mistakes. We are human. We all deserve forgiveness and a chance to prove we are not what our conviction status says. I could care less who was convicted. Can they be rehabilitated? I can’t help but to agree…let’s stop the stigma, stop further destroying lives for non-violent crimes. Felony conviction doesn’t automatically mean someone is a “monster” or deserves a complete stripping of all rights and privileges.

  7. Attention voters:
If you view the six (6) episodes of “THE FAMILY “ to become aware of what is in play, you will be either ecstatic or horrified. NO INBETWEEN.

It will tell you why the Evangelicals consider Donald Trump as the “Chosen One”i.e., a Messia!

Ponder this and Vote for our REAL Demacracy.

    Richard Swearingen

  8. The media and the general public are treating New York criminal conviction of Donald trump as a joke and because it’s Donald Trump the conviction does not matter. It would be a miscarriage of justice to send Michael Cohen to prison and not Donald Trump

  9. Are you going to change your minds when the “conviction” is over turned? Or was your goal to interfere with this election?

  10. Well said. Obviously our justice system is flawed. Is there any chance that the obvious bias the justice system has shown between the haves and the have nots, will be adjusted ? There’s no denying what’s been shouted for years, by civil rights leaders. There is no justice, there’s “just us” (Richard Pryor)

  11. No one is asking the right question here. The question is because of former president Trump status / and being rich exempts him of being a felon and therefore he has a right to run for presidency? Wow! Wow ! I guess our constitution means nothing at all.

  12. Trump, convicted on 34 criminal charges. Also, guilty of unlawfully sexually penetrating a lady in a clothing store,; Moreover, with serious charges still pending,is being touted as a possible President of the U.S.A. I believe that rhe American Constitution is founded on COMMON SENSE, so my question is…. why isthis creature still enjoying his freedom, let alone the possibility of HIGH OFFICE?

  13. Here is my thought only……since our constitution doesn’t have anything in it to keep Trump from running, if re-elected, wouldn’t it open a can of worms for every convicted felon now? Like all their rights being re-established? Freedom, rights to bare arms, ect….? Just because someone has money, & position he does, is it really fair to we the people? Or for those convicted, guilty or otherwise? Just wondering

  14. Trump is a criminal and should be in jail! If we did the criminal activity he did we would be in jail! It’s embarrassing that anyone would elect a criminal!

  15. Sometimes I wonder why we have laws when the law does not apply to everyone.so there are some people above the law. My understanding is when a president is no longer in office he then becomes an average citizen like the rest of the population and should be treated as such. In All fairness Trump should do his time behind bars.He is indeed a convicted felon and should do time like everyone else. He is convicted of 34 counts and needs to take responsibility for his bad behavior. Just like anyone else money should not play a part or status when it comes to the american constitution and our laws. If he is let off everyone should be let off. He is no better then anyone else.
