Boston 250 Launch
Boston 250 is a yearlong celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War, commemorating Boston’s role in the US fight for independence. There will be a short ceremony, a lighting of the lanterns in the Old North Church, a drone show over Boston Harbor, and Paul Revere arriving at City Square on horseback. History buffs will recall that Revere rode from Boston to Lexington to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the impending British invasion.
