The College of Communication (and the other schools and colleges at BU) will not be able to host an in-person commencement ceremony. COM, in conjunction with the University, will produce a virtual, pre-recorded, COM Commencement Ceremony available for viewing beginning on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 2 pm EDT. January 2021 and May 2021 COM graduates, along with COM students who have applied for September 2021 graduation, will be recognized during the COM virtual ceremony. Information on the all-BU ceremony is online at www.bu.edu/commencement. BU is planning to hold an in-person Commencement ceremony for those who are eligible to graduate in January 2021, May 2021 or September 2021. The ceremony will be held at Nickerson Field on Sunday, May 16, 2021, and will be conducted with the University’s Back2BU health protocols that are currently in place and in accord with state and local travel policies.
