Fellowship: Curatorial

The MassArt Art Museum (MAAM) Curatorial Fellow in Contemporary Art will focus on all aspects of exhibition development and display of MAAM exhibitions. This opportunity is designed for those interested in pursuing a curatorial career, particularly in contemporary art. Reporting to the Executive and Artistic Director and to the Exhibition Manager, the Fellow is a key contributor, participating in a range of projects in collaboration with the MAAM team and at times, with MassArt at large.
This part-time administrative position is designed to broaden the experience of graduate students embarking on professional and academic careers in art history, museum studies, or related fields who are considering a museum profession. The Curatorial Fellow in Contemporary Art will work 10-15 hours/week to be spread out over 1-2 weekdays (days/times negotiable). Occasional evening and weekend hours for special events may be needed.
