Job: Chief Programming Officer

The Chief Programming Officer (CPO) at CMCB occupies a primary leadership role for the success of our ecosystem of 3,000 weekly students, 20 partner organizations, and 50+ teaching artists and music therapists.

CMCB’s work spans arts instruction in school and after-school, music therapy and behavioral health programs, culturally-specific arts initiatives related to racial equity, and youth economic empowerment and workforce development. The CPO is instrumental to monitoring and shaping this direct service work, and also occupies a nationally prominent role as a spokesperson for CMCB-advocating persuasively for the importance of equitable, learner-centered, culturally-inclusive arts education. CMCB is currently in a $15 million capital campaign to support flagship investments in arts-based youth development, including new frameworks and courses of study garnering national attention. The CPO will join the organization at a thrilling juncture in our 113 year history and play a pivotal role in shaping these investments in a new generation of arts learning at CMCB and beyond.
