DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS
Job Summary:
The Director of Programs is the Office for the Arts’ senior program administrator in charge of overseeing and supporting all OFA programs and student services. The position facilitates and guides planning with program managers, solves programming issues, helps program leaders address unexpected challenges and opportunities, and attends their events.
Reporting to the OFA Director, the position advises on major strategic issues and is a critical leader in implementing the OFA’s strategic plan objectives and works collaboratively with the Department Administrator on program resources. This position serves as active co-leaders with the Director for Administration in the Director’s absence. The Director of Programs is responsible for ensuring that all of the programs remain vibrant and vital, as well as adaptive and innovative in responding to the needs of our students, the evolving nature of art-making, and the times in which we live. INFORMATION AND OUTREACH TECHNOLOGY LEAD
Job Summary:
Independently provide advanced technical services to customers for one or more of the following: computer hardware, mobile devices, software and network related problems, and accessibility. Resolve complex problems, consulting with manager on sensitive or critical mass issues.
The Manager of Information and Outreach Technology reports to the Director of Administration and provides a wide range of technical oversight for the Office for the Arts (OFA). The position works closely with the communications team and makes technical and operational recommendations to OFA Senior Management. The position evaluates priorities across department units and takes initiative on IT improvements and strategies; tracks IT industry changes and anticipates web and technology trends. The main responsibilities are web site oversight, data security analysis and compliance, support of best practices and third-party services integrations, database, technology management and purchasing, and project management for IT initiatives. Confers with and acts as a liaison to Harvard University IT (HUIT). Represents OFA on committees. The position assists Senior OFA Management in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives, contributes to an organizational culture that demonstrates these values among staff, students, and the community, and integrates them into all work we do.
