Arts Marketing Graduate Certificate
Available on campus and online, the four-course Graduate Certificate in Arts Marketing is ideal for those seeking to position themselves as effective practitioners of marketing for the arts. Offered in collaboration with Metropolitan College’s Department of Administrative Sciences, this hands-on, professional program provides a competitive advantage in an era of changing media and marketing techniques.
Students enrolled in the Arts Marketing certificate program will engage in course work that is designed to build a sophisticated skillset in the latest approaches to arts marketing, promotion, and advertising. Those who complete the program will have the requisite skills to pursue a career as an arts marketing manager within an arts organization, including advanced training in marketing techniques, data analytics, social media marketing, strategic decision-making, and marketing segmentation.
Students in the Arts Marketing program take two Arts Administration courses and select two electives drawn from BU MET’s graduate programs in Advertising and Global Marketing.
The certificate is open to qualified applicants who have earned a bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college or university in the United States or abroad. All candidates for admission are selected on the basis of undergraduate transcripts, academic and personal references, and related work experience.

Transfer of Credits to Degree Program
Upon completion, interested students may apply for admission to the Master of Science in Arts Administration degree program. If accepted, select credits earned toward the graduate certificate will be applied to the degree program.
