Piper McInall (’21)
Piper McInall is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Boston University.
Piper earned her B.A. in Music and B.S. in Anthropology from Florida State University in 2019. Throughout her undergraduate career, Piper was involved in several student organizations, cultivating her skills in event planning, fundraising, and leadership. She has also worked as a museum educator at the Museum of Florida History in Tallahassee, Florida, where she developed and executed museum programming and special events.
A lifelong lover of the arts, Piper began playing piano at age seven and cello, her primary instrument, shortly thereafter. Piper hopes to carry her appreciation for music, passion for inclusivity, and diverse skills learned through BU’s program to her future career.
I chose to attend Boston University’s Arts Administration program to learn from the broad range of experiences of the faculty. I also was drawn to the ability to focus on both performing and visual arts without having to choose just one area. The program has already greatly expanded my knowledge of subjects like grantwriting and community arts, and I’m excited to learn more.
