Yiming Zhu (’20)
Yiming is an Arts Administrator specialized in contemporary art curation and independent films or film festivals.
She holds a Bachelor of International Accounting from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, China, where she was selected as a tuition-waved exchange student to Audencia Business School, Nantes, France. After that exchange, she changed her path from Finance and Accounting to Arts, to what she truly loves.
After the finishing Arts Administration program and two internships at Boch Center, and Gallery 263 in Boston, she moved to New York City in 2020 to start working at CineCina, a Chinese Film Festival.
She is a feminist and an activist. She would love to speak for those under-presented, those marginalized, those silenced, through art and cinema.
The experience studying the Arts Administration program at BU helped me to be more myself, and to find the career that I love.
