In cooperation with offices across Boston University, AS&IR assists in surveying BU’s faculty, staff, and students by providing data resources, survey development, and technical and administrative assistance.

This service provides expertise and consulting on best practices in data visualization – including tool recommendations, dashboard design, and distribution processes. The university supports use of Power BI as the primary data visualization tool.

AS&IR’s Enrollment Management Analytics service provides descriptive and predictive statistics to inform recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students.

AS&IR maintains a robust history of institutional and comparative data for strategic inquiries, peer benchmarking, and public reporting. Coordinating with subject matter experts across the university, we maintain a collection of information on a cross-section of BU functions.
