Postdoctoral Associate (Center for Space Physics)
I am currently working with Prof. Wen Li on the precipitation of energetic electrons from the radiation belts into the upper atmosphere. Our goal is to understand what waves can drive the precipitation and which electron energies they affect. We use both low-orbiting satellites (like NOAA POES and FIREBIRD) and the Van Allen Probes which take measurements up until ~6 Earth radii.
