Hazel Baker-Harvey

I graduated University of California San Diego with a B.S. in Cognitive Science and a minor in Critical Gender Studies in 2019. During my time there, I worked in the Developmental Neuroscience Lab with Dr. Leslie Carver and the Early Cognition Lab with Dr. Caren Walker, looking at social motivation in toddlers as well as causal reasoning in children. Additionally, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician administering ABA therapy to toddlers, children, and young adults. I am excited to be part of the POLO (Predicting and Optimizing Language Outcomes) team, a multisite study focusing on language development in minimally verbal children. When I’m not in lab I enjoy cooking, running, and getting to know Boston.
