Rachel Hantman

As a Program Coordinator for the ATLAS project, I am responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the project– essentially, all the nitty-gritty details! I got into Autism research many years ago after working with kids on the spectrum at a local summer camp and after volunteering at local summer schools and haven’t looked back. Throughout my research experience, I have worked on a number of projects regarding ASD and social, behavioral, and communication outcomes through infants to adolescents, as well as projects using EEG and MRI (both of which are noninvasive ways to examine brain activity). Largely, I am curious about ASD’s neurological underpinnings as they relate to interventions and educational outcomes. Outside of CARE, I enjoy a good cup of coffee and chats with friends, baking, and cooking, as well as creating art!
