Hello! My name is Trisha and I am a senior at Boston University studying Behavior and Health. I have been working at CARE for about a year now as part of the Training Early Social Language in Autism (TESLA) research team. Currently, I am completing my senior honors thesis on imitation, play, and turn-taking in children with Autism during the JASPER intervention and Parent-Child Interaction. I am also interested in the treatment of co-morbid anxiety and mood disorders in individuals with Autism and how cultural factors may influence perceptions of the Autism phenotype. After graduation, I hope to work as a full time research assistant before applying to PhD programs in either clinical or developmental psychology.
