Fall 2020 Small-Band Indoor Rosters

The purpose of creating five bands consisting of 17-21 people each is to function safely indoors in medically-approved rehearsal facilities, spread-out 12′ apart, for the remainder of the semester. All rehearsals, unless otherwise noted, are in the Large Ensemble Room of the Band Room (300 Babcock St).

The following band rosters were generated from student responses, so all band members are expected to attend their rehearsal time. As the semester progresses, rehearsal times may be used for recordings or livestream performances.

We did our best to:

• keep the instrumentation as balanced as possible.
• disperse leadership throughout the bands.
• keep new members with returning members in their sections.

Remote learners can zoom-into rehearsals and play along at home! Now that we’re indoors, we have access to the “Learn from Anywhere” technology that’s been added to each classroom on campus. All rehearsals will be broadcast, and the link will be provided to remote learners.

The rehearsal time for the Friday group (Band 5) may fluctuate based on ROTC usage of the Large Ensemble Room – always see the Pep Band calendar.

We will begin rehearsals on Thursday 11/5. (There is no rehearsal Tuesday 11/3. Go Vote!!!)

BAND 5  –  Fridays (time varies slightly due to ROTC – see calendar)
