Hometown: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Bio: Charlie is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences double majoring in political science and international relations with a minor in data science. He has been playing brass instruments for eleven years and has participated in the Marching Band, the Pep Band, and the Scarlet Band. He is also Brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, BU’s honorary band service fraternity. When he’s not working, writing, or making music, he spends his time watching hockey, playing video games, and exploring the city of Boston.
What is your favorite part of being a band member? The community and opportunities I’ve gotten from being a part of this program have been a cornerstone of my college experience. I’ve met my closest friends, performed across the country and even overseas, and grown so much as a leader and musician through the BU Bands and I can’t image my life without it.
