2/22/19 Postdoctoral Scientist in the lab of Dr. Trinkaus-Randall in the Department of Ophthalmology/Biochemistry at Boston University School of Medicine 

The department of Ophthalmology/Biochemistry at the Boston University School of Medicine has an opening for pre-doctoral Research Fellow or Postdoctoral Associate to coordinate and conduct research on the role of diet and nutrition on localization of proteins, integrity of nerves and wound repair.

Applicant will be performing conventional and live cell confocal imaging and analysis. Analysis will include running MaTLab programs. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly ambitious and creative person who enjoys research, imaging and writing.

Required skills:

  • Experience in molecular techniques
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability
  • Applicant should have minimum 1 year of experience in the lab.

This is a grant-funded position with an initial one-year term and potential renewal conditional on funding and performance.
