Jerry Murrell is the founder of Five Guys. He opened the first restaurant in 1986 in Arlington, Virginia and is now CEO of the company.
Since the opening of its first location, Five Guys now has almost 1,700 locations internationally with more in development. It was ranked the fastest growing restaurant chain in the United States in 2009 and continues to be a cult favorite.
Mr. Murrell graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Michigan in 1967.
