This past Saturday, May 18, Biology and BMB students were recognized for their academic excellence and research contributions at the Biology and BMB Convocation ceremonies.
Ana Emilia Margarita Salinas Gerard served as Student Speaker at the Biology convocation and awards were given out to graduating seniors including Melissa Inge (Senior College Prize for Excellence in Biology); Sipei Fu and Jean Luc Germany (Excellence in Scholarship Award); and Kevin Liu Kot and Eileen Nolan (Academic Achievement Award).
At the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology ceremony Joana Barbosa Teixeira was the Student Speaker and the graduation awards went to Bryan O. Seguinot Zapata (Senior College Prize for Excellence in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) and to Yuekun (David) Liu, Maggie Mangas, Christopher Petty, and Jeff Arni C. Valisno (Outstanding Achievement in Research and Scholarship Award).
