Chip Celenza

Having grown up in a fairly homogenous environment I did not see the value of diversity until grad school started me on my career in science. Through collaborations with researchers from around the world I’ve gained important insights into my research and I hope I’ve contributed to their work as well. Much of my work at BU is involved with undergraduates through teaching and as director of BMB and UROP; I strive through these roles to encourage and support all students. I thank all of the students I’ve met at BU since 1995 for teaching and challenging me to constantly grow as an instructor, researcher, mentor, and person.
