Cynthia Bradham

I joined the BAC because racism is simply and fundamentally wrong, and its continuing existence in our society is appalling and dangerous. As a gay female scientist, I understand something of what it is to not be in the majority. I specifically want to work toward changing policies that promote racist outcomes, and I want to function as an actively antiracist educator, scientist, and human being. I want to continue to help individuals reach for their dreams, but I also want to have an impact on policies that will provoke more effective and long term changes to impact larger groups of people in far-reaching ways, both within and beyond BU.
