Digital badges are sometimes needed to illustrate qualifications that an individual has gained from completing workshops or noncredit courses from Boston University, and are most often displayed on badge platforms such as Badgr and Credly, or on an individual’s LinkedIn profile.

Because they are also a representation of BU to the outside world, we have established a standard design convention to ensure that BU has a unified presence in this space.

Please see the example below, and note that the BU plate should not be used within the badge as it renders unreadable in small spaces.
