The first student art exhibition at the George
Sherman Union was hung shortly after the facility
opened in 1963 (and curated by Doug Parker
[SFA'66], current art director of Bostonia). The
art gallery was then located in the rear of the
Union, above the Ziskind Lounge. The March 20 "BU
Yesterday" showing a group of students sunning in a
courtyard may have been taken from the windows to
