What's
Hot on the Web
Spring often brings into bloom new Web sites at BU. Leading these offerings
is a site from the Office of Personnel that's specifically designed for
faculty and staff.
-- Find the answers to just about any employment-related question at
this new site. Included is a host of new online offerings as well as
a crisp new design to the weekly list of job opportunities.
- www.bu.edu/bpt/ -- Since 1981,
the Boston Playwrights' Theatre has been an incubator for talented writers.
The site details the theater's history, gives alumni profiles, and highlights
the faculty and staff who help the shows go on.
- www.bu.edu/btm/ -- Check out
this site for information on the third annual Boston Theater Marathon,
held on Sunday, April 8, starting at noon and running until 10 p.m.
-- This new site from Mugar Memorial Library provides information on
a wide range of library-related items, from exporting citations to library
hours. You can also check out What Was New to find out what you missed.
- www.bu.edu/cas/ -- The College
of Arts and Sciences new Web site, launched earlier this year, addresses
the breadth of the liberal arts curriculum at BU -- from anthropology
to women's studies. The site links to the 24 CAS academic departments
and several disciplinary programs and research centers. Included are
sections for prospective students, alumni, and faculty.
"What's
Hot on the Web" is compiled by Joel Seligman, director of strategic
communications in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
