Starting artists: Former BU trustee Esther Kahn (SED'55, Hon.'86) speaks with past winners of an Esther B. and Albert S. Kahn Career Entry Award at an April 21 dinner and cabaret event on the top floor of the 10 Buick Street residence hall. Every five years, the Kahn Festival brings together past recipients of the award in celebration of their talents and successes. More than 78 BU graduates have received one of the $15,000 awards, which help support artists of extraordinary potential as they launch their careers in music, theater arts, and the visual arts.
