    • One dose of the “Most Up to Date” COVID-19 Vaccine pending release Fall 2024
** Please note, healthcare providers who do not work in a DPH licensed facility, are not required to be vaccinated for COVID-19, although you are strongly encouraged to receive if no contraindication.
  • Flu Vaccine
    • Flu vaccination (dependent on season)
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Testing
    • Negative T-Spot or Quantiferon Gold blood test within 3 months prior to start date. Please note TB skin test results are not acceptable
    • If you have a history of a positive TB test, documentation of positive test, chest x-ray and TB counseling or treatment letter from a licensed healthcare provider is required
    • TB testing is required even if you have received the BCG vaccine

How to obtain vaccination records:

These documents can be found within your medical records at your primary care providers office, student heath, previous employee health records, immigration documents, travel vaccination records or using the Massachusetts Immunization Information System (https://www.mass.gov/guides/how-to-access-your-vaccination-records-using-my-vax-records). BUOHC will perform or administer any necessary tests and or vaccinations without charge.

Option for declination:

Once your immunity status has been assessed and vaccination is indicated, you will have the option to make an informed decision to decline vaccination. The rational for knowing each HCP’s immunity status is to be able to quickly identify non-immune HCP, and assess their need to quarantine in the event of an infectious disease exposure or outbreak as defined by the MA Dept of Public Health.
