PATH Advising Program (Planning & Advising For Transitions to Higher Education)

PATH Advising Program seeks to increase the number of low-income, first generation, and underrepresented students entering and completing college.

To achieve this mission, PATH places well-trained recent college graduates into under-served high schools to serve as near-peer AmeriCorps college and career advisers. PATH advisers work within their school placements to promote a culture of college attendance and to increase educational opportunities for all students. PATH advisers assist students with completing college or trade applications and applying for financial aid; advisers are committed to helping each student find his or her “best-fit” institution.

PATH Advising Program currently has 23 advisers serving in 26 high schools across Boston, Malden and Somerville.

Check back in Spring 2026 for information on hiring the for the 2026-2027 PATH Adviser Role!
