Group Therapy

Child CARD offers group therapy programs several times a year. Our groups are rooted in cognitive behavioral principles and teach children skills for more effectively identifying and responding to anxiety and related emotional challenges. Groups involve an exposure component, through which participants are supported in facing feared situations. Many of our groups programs include a high level of parent involvement and support. In addition, we sometimes offer parent-only group programs. Groups are carefully designed to ensure all members are a “good fit.”

We also offer our Brave Bunch Group Treatment Program  for young children with Selective Mutism every summer.

CARD is always tailoring group treatment offerings for children and adolescents. For an updated list of group treatment options, contact us.
